Message from our Principal

 

Finn Hill & EAS Families,

I’m honored and excited to be the new Principal of Finn Hill Middle School and EAS. This community holds a special place in my heart it’s where I began my journey as an educator and coach, and I’m thrilled to return to the place that helped shape me both personally and professionally.

My connection to Finn Hill began in the spring of 2004 when I was selected as the baseball coach. Shortly after, I joined Juanita High School as a full-time PE and Health teacher. Over the next 12 years, I had the privilege of serving this community as a teacher, football coach, and softball coach. These experiences grounded me in the values and spirit of this community, and I’m truly grateful to be coming back home.

Since then, I’ve served as Associate Principal at Inglewood Middle School for four years and most recently as Principal of Evergreen Middle School for seven years. These roles have deepened my commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and high-achieving school environments.

As I step into this new role, I want you to know that I lead with a servant’s heart. I believe in the power of relationships—among staff, students, and families—to create a thriving school culture. Together, we will continue to grow as a community of learners, collaborate meaningfully, and innovate to meet the needs of every student.

I’m looking forward to working alongside each of you as we begin this new chapter together.
