It is an honor to play – Middle School Honor Concert showcases top talents

More than 200 Lake Washington School District students performed in this year’s Middle School Honor Concert. This is an annual showcase of the district’s best band, chorale, and orchestra middle school students. In total, there were 85 band, 50 choir and 70 orchestra performers on hand at Evergreen Middle School on January 30. This was a group opportunity for the students as each of the three groups was under the baton of local LWSD high school directors. The band was fortunate enough to work with Erin Keeton-Howard, a Seattle-based educator, conductor and composer.
